I've noticed that's all GSP wears.

Under Armor and the like are compression shirts. The problem is many of these mma companies are taking compression shirts and calling them "rash guards". I've seen only a few companies actually offer real rash guards like the ones used for surfing (which you can get alot cheaper, you are paying 50% more for a product being associated with MMA). A rash guard should be thicker and more durable. Someone compared it to Under Armor cold gear as far as thickness, although it should be just 1 layer.

I can't speak about this specific product being offered though, but just be aware of that.

Under Amror, Layer 8, Champion, all those compression shirts are not really the same. If you trane in your basement, they will work fine, but when you wanna get to Strikeforce, you will need to ball with some higher quality gear.

Rash gaurd means- a tight fitting/compressing shirt that will wick moisture away from the body and further more a t as a barrier between skin in places like inner thighs, under arms, etc to keep you from getting a rash or chaffing. Which as anyone knows that has actually uses it. Underarmour works quit well. GSP uses under armor. Does he train in his basement.
I may not train MMA for "real" but I do train pretty hard and run marathons. I don't use chaff cream and have never had a rash or raw spot using underarmour. That's running with your inner thighs, and underarms rubbing for 4 1/2 hrs straight with out stopping and no rash.

And even more idiotic is the comparison of rash guards to neoprene suits for surfing. Your an idiot. They don't breath. They are designed to NOT allow moisture in. You're foolishly mistaking rashes and mat burn. That's what knee and elbow sleeves are for dumbass. God. Get a clue before you spout.

i grabbed a couple of those starter brand rashies from walmart but theyre super thin and they ripped pretty fast. 1 after a few classes (fabric ripped around the seam), the other one lasted about 6months (fabric wore down and got holey). i get mine from ebay now, some korean seller, theyre thicker (not UA coldgear thick, maybe slightly more than heatgear). the stitching is really good too, looks like triple crossed stitched or some shit. theyre only about $25 shipped for tops or spats.

If your starter compression shirts are wearing down it isn't because of rolling, it is the detergent. Most detergents use enzymes for stains which break down material. Wash them with enzyme free detergent and watch all of your clothes last 4x as long. Clothing companies love detergent like Tide and All because they are the reason why you go through 20 pairs of sox a year.
