A top quality rash guard manufactured in Japan by Reversal aka RVDDW.$50
Did those shorts from Thailand finally come in yet?
when will you have some gi's for sale?
They just had Venum Goldweave Power Gi a few days ago.. You missed out. Great gi for about $60 cheaper than retail.
$60 for a rashguard isn't ridiculous, considering the cheapest high quality rash guard is $45 shipping (Rupture). I think people are just upset about the fact that the discounted price of this rash guard is still $60. Let's be honest, you guys aren't only upset because this rashguard costs $60. You guys are also upset because of its original $100 price tag. No one would pay $100 for this. But if you buy it today, you won't have to pay $100.
I want this but I just can't afford $60
youre a white belt anyways
ha
LOL.
lmao
any more white gi's $60 Fuji maybe? I'm sure that will sell out!
more under armour knock offs....if you buy this your dumb
you're
OH SNAP!
$60 for a rashguard is just plain silly. And for those that may be inclined to say that it is a price issue because someone cannot afford it in your opinion; stop and consider that some people just see the frivolity in paying $60 just because a particular label is on it. $60 wouldn't bother me, but I'm also smart enough to know that anyone can purchase "rash guards" at a place like Target, by Champion for $15; and it is the same thing, just without the "brand" label. On that note, if you want to pay for the "brand", then by all means; enjoy!
you are ABSOLUTELY wrong. that's like saying a pair of Levi's jeans is the same thing as a pair of 7s or True Religion jeans. FACT: they aren't, stitches, seams, thread count, thread alignment is absolutely different. How can a Champion rashguard compare when it feels so disgusting to the touch while this feels better than silk? IF YOU HAVEN'T TRIED IT, DON'T KNOCK IT. why are you even posting if you've NEVER had a real rashguard other than a "sweat shirt" from Target. It's okay that you can't afford it or whatever the deal may be, but why attempt to bring others down with LIES
I'm not saying that you should spend $60 on a rashguard, but a $15 generic rashguard is not the same as one made for grappling/mma. Try out a Rupture ($45 retail) and see what I mean. Between the better fabric, longer skirt so it doesn't ride up while training, flatlock stitching and having the stitching in areas that recieve less friction the products made for this sport are far superior to anything you will get at Target. I haven't used RVDDW before so I can't speak to them specifically, but I've used the generic sport compression shirts from Target (and similar other stores) and compared to ones made for grappling and there is no debate as to which is better. It is not just a difference of whose name is on the label, it is a different product.
I seem to mention this at least once a week. Please educate yourselves on the differences between compression shirts (Under Armor, Champion, Nike DriFit, etc), and actual rash guards. They are 2 different products, that should be made differently with different materials. Your $15 Champion compression shirt is not a rash guard. All of that aside, these Japanese $60-$75 rash guards are still a rip off. These companies are overpricing the merchandise because it is for a MMA audience and MMA is the hot fad. Go buy some surfing rash guards for half the price. Even some of them are better quality than some MMA branded ones. IE: Everlast MMA rash guard is more compression shirt than rash guard.
I don't think RVDDW overpriced their stuff, they're intended for the Japanese market, i.e. if you live (and work) in Japan, their stuff won't feel that expensive to you.
To belt fan Dan. There is no difference in underarmour heatgear and rashgaurd. It is a compression/moisture wicking/chafe protecting garment. A little difference in material or how its made. But to say that underarmour is not sufficient rash gaurs is rediculous. I have been training MMA for 13 years and jaw used UA forever and works as well as any. Now champion, starter and other cheap brands are not the same at all. Which is why they are 12$ and not 30 or more.
There is a difference. Heatgear holds up alot better than coldgear, but most of the people rolling in UA, are not in heat gear. Both will rip at the armpit seams much quicker than a rash guard. Sticking with UA, you can get their stuff for $20 or less at any bargain retailer like Marshalls, TJ Maxx, etc. They are just as guilty of overpricing their stuff as anyone else.
A lot of the difference comes in the stitching and feel. I have a Manto rash guard that I train with 3 times a week, it feels soft and still holds up after 4 months of usage. I also have another one that I bought at Walmart, it's fabric feels tougher on the skin and the stitching is undone in different parts of the shirt. It's good to have a good rash guard and a cheaper one as backup. Not all cheap rash guards are crap though. I don't remember what brand the one I bought at Target was but it lasted me quite a while before ripping.
If you're gonna roll in UA, I would recommend Heat Gear. Feel free to roll in All Seasons or Cold Gear if you prefer overheating and passing out. Some of the Nike stuff is pretty good too. Been rolling for a few years in these and I think they've held up pretty well. That being said, I do see a difference in rolling with my Hayabusa rash guard over the UA or Nike. $60 is my max that I'd ever pay for a rash guard. Any more and it better be able to get arm bars by itself.
Not my cup of tea, but definitely a great deal!
don't think you guys have ever had this up, but how about some fairtex sparring gloves?
None coming up in the immediate future, but I'll see what I can do.
I dig the soccer jersey look, and I'm always supporting MMAHQ and their sweet deals. That being said $60 is steep for rashies when I can get an X-Bionic for $70, or a Rupture for $45.
It's a unique, made in Japan piece that's normally about $100. Some top bjj players wear these. But it's a high-end, niche item. Not for everyone.
love the portuguese. heard awesome things about this brand, so bit the bullet on a medium since i needed a "real" rashguard for the warm weather. The crappy tjmaxx brand ones served me well for 9 months lol
shiet if i knew this one was gonna be posted i wouldve held off the black one still its a great price !! def worth it!! peace!!
I've seen these generally for $100 bucks so this site still does work. $60 yea but a lot better than $100 if you're a fan which these are pretty sweet
Ridiculously good deal
any of the proceeds going to japan? if yeh than i ll order
What a great idea that would be, unfortunately I bet the markup in these is very very very minimal.
dude how are u vip?
yeah great idea, MMAHQ should take a look into that for next deals, that would be great if possible.
not a fan of the 60 or 70 dollar shirts if i could spend that much i wouldnt need mmahq haha
Another one who needs a tampon!
the fact that you called this a shirt shows you have no business being here... go back and your cheeto belt in keyboard warrior
These special request, people are annoying. How about mmahq sells peace on earth next time?
not to be an elitist jerk, but if that looks like a t shirt to you, you probably shouldn't be buying stuff from this website.
