Windy isn't the best. They are known for slipping and turning when you kick. Look into Fairtex

These are pretty awesome. They fit nice and snug/secure like the neoprene-backed style shin guards, but the open back makes them more breathable and much easier to take on and off. Also, these offer a lot more protection than the neoprene style (in my experience) without being bulkier.
