I have a pair of the Hayabusa striking pads which are amazing. I will say though that these pads offered today although not the same level of quality of Hayabusa's, are similar in many ways when I'm looking at them. Being that they are more than half off what you would pay for the Hayabusa's, I would say buy these if price is a concern. Every other shin guard listed so far has sucked compared to these. Just my two cents....which is worth if I'm lucky a fraction of a cent in this economy.

I work in a hi-tech field, and I can tell you the guys here get a good laugh at the non tech-savvy folks who love Apple. And yes, its always the newbies or non tech savvy that seem to love them. I owned one for years until I realized I was overpaying for less power.
