Yeah, where I come from hook and loop is actually going around (or LOOPING around) a hook then being fastened. These are not hook and loop! It's freaking velcro! Go on other sites they say velcro WITH HOOK AND LOOP ENCLOSURE and it shows a freaking metal hook that the strap can loop around.

Velcro is a trademarked term. Hook and Loop is the name of the generic equivalent.
