This is the brand Joe Rogan talks about when fighters get hit in the groin.$85
Protecting the boys is important, but no piece of plastic and compression shorts are worth $80-$100...
Chris, i'm telling you they are worth it! If you do Jitz more than once a month and if you ever compete or even go to stand-up night at your gym, this stuff is totally worth the money!
I do BJJ 2-3 times a week and don't bother with a cup. I have yet to take any serious contact to even consider a cup - if I did, I would try the spider cup for $30.
Oh, and in most BJJ tournaments it is illegal to wear a cup.
ur call bro. But i can tell you that the last time these were on this site, end of February i believe, they sold out in hours! So there are quite a few guys out there that agree that not only are they worth the money, but they are a necessity! Oh, and cups ARE legal in most BJJ tourneys, it's at the IBJJF level where they don't allow it. I just did NAGA Charlotte a couple weeks ago and they allow them.
ibjjf isn't a level, it's just the better tournaments. naga sucks. kneebars nogi novice division realy? talk about a tournament that ruins jiujitsu careers.
They both have their faults. I'm totally fine with leglocks in novice tournaments, I think people need to train for everything in order to get good at it. IBJJF is my least favorite tournament personally. It has the prestige but the rules and the fuck-ups are stupid.
Been waiting for this to come back around again but how come it's $30 shipping to Aus when it's only a small item??
Good point. Fixed.
when will armorfit headgears be back on sale?
shock doctor makes a great one for half the price.. dont be scamed....
I want to pull the trigger on this, but my limited experience with compression cup systems haven't been positive...
jaco guardian cup system 40$ go look it up probably better than this cup system and it has adjustable straps to keep the cup tight
This is the greatest Jock I have used! I literally smile when I take a shot to the groin while doing Muay Thai. I never have to worry about the cup shifting during MMA either. I have the spider and shock doctor models. Total garbage compared to diamond. They aren't just a compression short. It's like they combined the best parts of different Jock designs into one badass piece. I already got one last time. Totally buying another.
I was curious how this compares to the Jaco Guardian (what I currently have). I haven't had any problems with it so far and I like the way it is adjustable. I was thinking about getting a 2nd Jaco and then I saw this listed here.

Guys, let me tell you something about this system. I have been doing BJJ for just about a year, but i also teach Army Combatives and been doing that for a few years. I am on mats daily with noobs that dont attempt to keep their knees, feet and elbows away from their partners junk and the Diamond MMA jock and cup are the only things that keep me able to teach class all day, and still go to Jitz class at night! The way it keeps everything together and from moving all around is genius! I currently own 3, yes THREE, sets of this system and i will never purchase anything else! It is completely worth the money. And not only do I use Diamond MMA, but all of my instructors use Diamond MMA compression jock and cups! If any of you have questions, you can look us up on Facebook. http://www.facebook.com/82ndAirborneCombativesSchool
I'm not gonna spend $100 on this garbage, that price is just ridiculous. Also, why are you so eager to tell us how great these are? Vested interest maybe?
yes, my interest is in my balls being protected. you are very perceptive Mr. Beekman. But i'm sure you've purchased every set of 4oz gloves they have sold and have zero MMA fights.
maybe it's because all of your posts seem like you are working at best-buy on commission in regards to this cup?
Army combatives? Are you active duty? I'm a SB1(SWCC) in the USN, did combatives with the 101st in a predeployment exercise a few years back. I have the shock doctor combo personally.
40$-50$ maybe I would give it a go around but a cup and shorts that costs as much as a Gi is a joke. Also as mentioned above, cups are illegal in BJJ tournaments
Are you really chirping me when you have no idea who I am or what I do? Not a single part of that statement was true.
this is mmahq.com, not bjjhq.com. if you don't want the cup, don't buy it.
