If you are doing a circuit you wouldn't necessarily take them off everytime. Maybe if you have brittle bones like corey hill it would be a good idea.

Of course you can kick bags with shin guards.... I would actually suggest noobs wear them until they condition (kill the nerves) in their legs. If not they will learn shit ass kicking form because they won't rotate the hips for fear of hurting their leg. A combination of softer kicks without and harder, proper technique kicks with, is the best way for a noob to learn. You have to remember all UFC traners aren't necessarily planning on fighting at some point like most of us are or have. A lot of people do it for the sport.

Ah awesome shins, I own these and love the way you can secure them to your foot. I never have a problem with them slipping. Can't believe the price almost half of the price on cagesides website. thinking of scooping up another pair.

These are a great price, and you can trane UFC in them. I know you get tired of people whining about what they want, but an affordable large gym bag this week would likely sell out. Maybe a cageside one since they are affordable.

bought them last time... work pretty well for the price. No complaints. better than my last pair which were slip on shin guards that would have to be adjusted all the time

Do you know how they compare to twins shin guards? I'm a muay thai fighter, not mma so i'm looking more so for the protection.

I have these too and they are good guards. I have larger calves and bought the XL (5'8", 210lbs) and they are a perfect fit.
